There's a great way to know what's going on and be able to plan for future events. The Little Econ District (of which Pack 139 is a member) has a Yahoo Group where they regularly post announcements about special offerings (no ads) and upcoming events. Anyone can join the group, not just leaders.

To join, you will need to go to www.yahoo.com and create a log on if you don't already have one. After that, go to Yahoo Groups and look for littleeconbsa. Request to join the group. That's it. After that, you may choose to receive daily digests of communications from the group by email (highly recommended).

A Cub Scout pack is a family organization.  It's a great growth opportunity for your scout, but also for you.  There are many roles within the pack that parents fulfill to make things go.  The pack needs YOU to step forward and find the place where you fit in.  After March 1 when our second-year Webelos cross-over to Boy Scouts and their parents leave as well, there will be many empty holes in the adult leadership roles.

Did you know we are on Facebook?  If you already have a Facebook account, just search for Pack 139 Oviedo to find the page.  You can become a member of the group.  Over time, we will be adding information there as well as here.  More ways to keep in touch!

The purpose of the Pack 139 web site and EBLAST is to keep members of the Pack and community informed about scouting information and events from Pack 139, the Little Econ District, the Central Florida Council, and the Boy Scouts of America. Just click on "Pack Roster," choose your son's den, then your son's name, then click on the button for "Advancements."
